This afternoon I had an appointment booked with a technician from Geeks on Wheels to set up a new laptop for me. This involved setting up all the basic instillations and functions on the new as well as selecting and transferring a lot of material from the old laptop. At times my requests and the ensuing processes were not straight forward yet this young man seemed up to every challenge, he kept cool and confident through any frustration and was an absolute pleasure and inspiration to deal with. I am a senior who has very limited technology skills and I was dreading this exercise as on previous occasions when my children were asked to help with such tasks we were all left nearly tearing our hair out by the end of the session. Today Kai was so obliging, even changing his next appointment with a client to enable us to finish the job and at all times was very patient and respectful. I cannot commend him enough and am delighted that such services as Geeks on Wheels is available and with such competent and first rate personnel as Kai K. Thank you. Anna N.

I just had my MacBook Air 13.3 repaired by this great team. They quoted me $830 in comparison to another company who quoted me $1300! I also was shocked with the speed and efficiency they had my screen replaced in 2 days over the weekend whereas that other company told me it’ll take 8 days with a fake apple screen BUT if I wanted a real apple screen I’d have to wait longer so I was shocked when he said “we will drop it off Sunday but worst case Monday” I was happy to say that worked with me 🙂 definitely recommend

Very quick response to my request for help, and was lucky to get a tec out the next day. Sadly my laptop was not able to be fixed on the spot, but was return quickly and working again. Not having a call out fee was a good reason for using Auckland Geeks. And the fact if they were not able to repeat I would not of been charged. Lucky it was all fixed and a full backup done. They came to my apartment to collect it, (note this was prior to lockdown), dropped it off again, showed me how to access the saved data and upload it to the cloud continue to provide after-service care AND they helped me with a payment plan.
